2022 AACPA Awards Honor APAA With Most Outstanding Community Service Organization Award
On Thursday, November 3rd, APAA was one of five organizations to receive an award from the Texas Chapter of the Asian American Contractors and Professional Association (AACPA). The award was announced during AACPA’s 2022 Awards Gala & Expo in Dallas. The annual event features recognition of businesses and organizations that have gone above the call to action for the better of their community and peers.
APAA’s award was in the category of “Most Outstanding Community Service Organization of the year”. Other award recipients included leaders with Bonton Farms, Dallas Police Department Office of Community Affairs, the City of Dallas Small Business Center, and North Texas Tollway Authority (NTTA).
“This award is a testament to the resilience of our beloved community, the ingenuity of our team, and the steady leadership of APAA’s Peer Advisory Committee and Board of Directors,” said Joe Powell, President and CEO of APAA. “It is an incredible honor to receive this award and an even greater honor to be placed in such distinguished ranks as those we share this recognition with.”
AACPA was formed in 2010 with a small group of business leaders and now has grown significantly to be an important advocacy partner within our communities. The organization’s members have diverse backgrounds in construction-related industries including contractors, service professionals, architects, engineers, suppliers, manufacturers, finance, insurance, real estate, and more.
